URGENT: (Require immediate
attention)

Degradation and structural failure
of bulkheads, loss of essential parking, access and off-loading capability
for commercial and charter fishing. (this is an emergency matter)

Deterioration of Millway Bridge, Road & parking areas,
potential future closures.

Limited
availability & mandatory utilization of Pump-Out facilities.

Need for
regularly scheduled channel maintenance dredging.

Status,
condition and potential future uses of Freezer Point.

Condition and congestion of Blish
Point (State) and Millway (Town) launch ramps. A new Town launch ramp is
urgently needed at Freezer Point to support local commercial and
recreational marine activities.

Congested seasonal Millway traffic
and insufficient
parking.

Inner basin water quality and stagnation, need for
dredging.

Outer
Harbor water quality
testing, evaluation, mitigation.

Potential future dredging requirement at Sandy Neck

Millway
Beach.

Potential future storm water and sewage treatment
run-off into
Barnstable
Harbor from various
areas north of Route 6.

Revenue-producing dinghy storage for Mooring Field
users.

Revenue-producing transient visitor dinghy dock,
moorings & slips.

Increasing Dock and Mooring fees.

Shuttle service from Village public parking

Millway
Beach replenishment

Underground utilities

Adverse effect of all these factors on local marine
businesses and tourism.
